Biography of the Manetti Bros.
Marco and Antonio Manetti
were born in Rome on 15th January 1968 and 16th September 1970 respectively.
They have directed numerous music videos including Piotta's Dimme qual'è il
nome, Il super cafone and La mossa del giaguaro; Alex
Britti's Solo una volta, Gelido and Mi piaci; Flaminio
Maphia's Rastafestagangsta, Balla e dalla and La gabbia;
HH 360° by DJ Enzo; Trilogia Assalti (Banditi, Notte D'acqua, Tolleranza
Zero) by Assalti Frontali; Comitiva's Nottetempo; Tiromancino and
Riccardo Senigallia's Strade; Dove puoi respirare by Cor Veleno and
many more videos for songs by Mariella Nava, Mietta, Ragazzi italiani, Bagatto, Cammariere,
Joe Cassano, David.
For television, they have directed the videos of the guests for each episode of
Studio 18, presented by Serena Dandini.
For the Web, they have directed SCUM - The web series, a series of mini episodes to
download off the Net.
For the cinema, in 1995 they directed De-generazione, episode Consegna a
domicilio (which won the public prize at the Myfest in Cattolica); in 1997 Torino boys
(winner of the special jury prize at the Turin Film Festival).
