Written in 1959 in collaboration with Forlani, "Sarrą chi sa" marked Roberto Murolo’s return to his work as a composer.  It is a romantic slow ballad that narrates the long embrace of two lovers from sunset to dawn, with the Neapolitan sky in the background.  The piece is a tribute to traditional song.
The song was presented at the 1959 Festival di Napoli by Teddy Reno and Fausto Cigliano.  It won that edition of the Festival and then gained the fourth position on the national hit-parade of sales.
